Prime Brasil Mineração had its beginning as Prime Consultoria which has provided mining consulting services in Brazil for 35 years.
During its history, it has created and developed several businesses and studies for Iron Ore, Limestone, Manganese, Copper, Gold, Rare earths, Cassiterite, Gems and Precious Stones, Bauxite, and Schelite.
The professionals associated with Prime Brasil Mineração had worked for mining and geology companies since 1975 in Brazil and abroad such as Vale, BHP, Rio Tinto, EBX, Ferrous Resources, H.Stern, CMA, Multiplic and Globo and are members-founders of ABRAMO – Brazilian Association of Gold Miners and IBRAM – Brazilian Institute of Mining.

Geologist Engineer graduated from the Federal University of Ouro Preto (UFOP), class of 1970. Specialized in target selection for mineral exploration and geological-economic evaluation of mineral deposits. Professional experience
includes 52 years in all phases of mineral exploration, with emphasis on Copper, Nickel, Lead, Zinc, Gold, Iron, Manganese, Diamond, Platinoids, Uranium, Rare Earths, and several industrial minerals. Worked in Brazil, Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, Peru, Argentina, Colombia; Uruguay, Chile, Gabon, Liberia, Congo, Portugal, Spain and India. Provided services to Vale, BP Minerals, Rio Tinto, Nuclebras, Tibras, Barrick Brasil, Ferrous, and dozens of Junior Companies and Investment Companies in mining projects.
Marcelo Antonio Batelochi
A Brazilian Senior Geologist who holds a degree in 1991, Bachelor of Honors from School of Geology at UNESP – São Paulo State University, Brazil. Thirty years of experience in the mineral resources evaluation and exploration of
Copper/Gold, Iron Ore, Manganese, Nickel, Bauxite, REE and PGE Deposits, as employee of Rio Tinto (12 years), Vale (4 years), Ferrous Resources (6 years), Great Panther Mining for 1 year, Independent Consultant (“MB Geologia”) since 2012 and since August 2020 at South Atlantic Gold Inc. Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and since 1999 (more than 20 years) qualified as a Chattered Profession of Geology and Mineral Resources (Qualified to be responsible for JORC and Ni-43101 Mineral Resource disclosure Reports)
Paulo José Mena Barreto de Andrade
A Professional Geologist and Competent Person ((MAIG #6136) under JORC and CIM (NI 43-101) standards, capable on writing press releases and certified reports for the TSX, ASX and other markets, graduated at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), 1984, with more than 35 years of experience in all phases of mineral exploration work. Mainly for Gold, Silver, Copper, Lead, Zinc, Nickel, Tin and Iron in several countries in South America such as: Chile, Ecuador, Peru, Colombia; United States and Republic of the Congo (Brazzaville), in Africa, working in 5 of the main majors companies like Vale, Anglo Gold Ashanti, Barrick Gold Corporation, Codelco and BP-Brascan JV and some junior companies.
Mr. Andrade also has the capability on building and managing exploration teams in different geographic areas, including remote environments like Amazonian Region and Andean Cordillera and experience on due diligence coordination and properties evaluation with multidisciplinary exploration/mining professional teams. In addition, holds a post-graduate in Computer Programming and Systems Analysis, having developed experience on database building, geological modeling, ore reserves/resources estimations and long-term planning.
Rosana Elisa Coppedê Silva
Graduated Engineer Geologist in 1992 by School of Mines, Federal University of Ouro Preto, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
Post Graduated in Economic and Regional Geology (M.Sc. in 1999 and D.Sc. in 2005) by Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Antonio Carlos M. Menezes
A genuine Mineral Economist by excellency, with more than 50 years of experience, starting his career as a Mining Technician in 1967, B.A. graduate Economics in 1980 by Federal Fluminense University, MBE (Master Business
Economics) by Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, M.A. in Literature by Federal Fluminense University.
Mr. Menezes has been acted in several sectors of the Brazilian mineral industry holding significant management and direction positions in private and public companies, and in entities connected directly to the Brazilian government. His main positions are: Director of MTR (Mineração Terras Raras S/A), President Director of Novo Astro Mineração (CMP), Director od GAP Geology & Planning, General Manager of MINBRÁS – Minérios Brasileiros S/A, HStern, Fertilizantes Minerais and Multiplic Mineração.
He also held an Executive Secretary position in ABRAMO (Associação Brasileira de Mineradores de Ouro), and is founder and director of PRIME – Consultoria Econômica de Negócios e Participações Ltda / Prime Star Brasil Mineração and Mineração Terras Raras S/A – MTR for Morro do Ferro REE Mine, as founder and shareholder as well.
In addition, he has been working as consultant throughout Brazil, heading multicommodity economics studies, exploration programs and implementations of mining projects, some of them leading to important mining discoveries and development like IRON in Conceição do Jacuípe – Bahia State and Morro do Ferro REE Mine (feasibility) in Poços de Caldas – Minas Gerais State, beyond Gold, Iron, Tungsten, Bauxite, Manganese, Tin, Gemstones, Diamonds and Industrial Minerals.
